Hair: The Look of You
Objective
As part of a creative symposium at Saint Louis University, I was invited to contribute a photographic exploration of hair as a symbol of identity, cultural expression, and motion. The goal was to create a collection of portraits that celebrated individuality through the lens of hair movement—capturing softness, strength, and presence through natural motion and styling.
What I Did
Conceptualized and directed a photo series focused on the movement of hair, using wind, light, and motion to emphasize shape and flow.
Results
The final series was featured at the SLU symposium, adding a visual storytelling layer to academic and cultural conversations.
Received strong feedback from attendees for its emotional tone, inclusivity, and bold styling.
Photographed a dynamic portrait series exploring identity, culture, and movement—featured in a symposium collection at Saint Louis University.
